The warranty for this product is not through Sonos, but through the company that weatherizes the product, which is H2O Block.
Installation Notes:
• Please keep in mind that although this product has been treated to withstand exposure to water, it can still be harmed by the heat of the sun. Please limit the Five's exposure to the sun when the temperature is over 80° F.
• When using the Five with an attached cable, you'll need to peel off the vinyl strip that covers the desired port, plug in the cable, and then use silicone caulking around the connection to keep it protected. The Five comes weatherproofed for Wi-Fi use, but you'll need to make sure any cable connection is protected in case that area is exposed to water.
